About the Owner

Hi, I’m Alysia, owner of Plants & Honey in Putnam, Connecticut.

My love for plants began in 2020 when I received a Marble Queen Pothos while working from home during the pandemic. What started as a single plant quickly grew into a passion for propagation, plant care, and creating beautiful spaces filled with nature.

After losing my job in social services in 2021, I turned that passion into Plants & Honey—a lifestyle boutique offering houseplants, home goods, gifts, crystals, and unique finds. I’m a mother of three adult children, a Rhode Island College graduate, a lifelong mixed-media artist, and proud cat mom to Harper.

Plants & Honey is a reflection of everything I love: creativity, nature, and helping others bring beauty and joy into their homes.
